[ABBA covers] A*Teens: good or bad?

During the 90s and 2000s (the revival years), groups made different covers of ABBA's songs (The Mamma Mia! musical and the tribute bands don't count in this case). For example the A*Teens in 1999 with their The ABBA Generation album.
The A*Teens are four Swedish teens who formed a pop group from 1999 to 2004. At the beginning, the name of the group was "ABBA Teens".

Their ABBA cover are rather good, I think. Especially Take A Chance On Me. The most famous are the Dancing Queen, Mamma Mia, Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! and  Super Trouper covers. These one have videoclips.

  1. Usually I hate covers of ABBA songs because they just sound so weird (I'm weird that way :P ), but what the A*Teens did is pretty interesting. The way they turned the ABBA sound into a more modern sound was cute. :)
