New minifig: Stephen King

Let me introduce you the latest member of my lego band: American horror writer Stephen King! I haven't told it yet, but my new obsession is him and I am really fond of his plots, characters, backgrounds, style, stories, etc... Plus, he is a super writing mentor to me, giving as much technic advices as tips on routine, motivation and mental. Thanks Mr. King!!!
Still preparing his appearance...

Tadaa!!! As you can notice, I made him look like in the 1970s.

I've also been lucky to get a pic of him in his writing room. You don't know how it is hard to get those kinf of pics... Even human Stephen King is pictured only once while working, you know, on this pic you can see on the On Writing cover. Still, as a lego, you can yet get nice pics of him, such as this one  with the ABBA legos:

As you may imagine by seeing this pic, A, B, B & F were cheerful to welcome the writer that inspired the lyrics of The Piper. Let's hope they'll collaborate as legos and go on with getting on well together!

Thank you Becky!!!

I would like to thank very very much my good old BFF Becky, known as ABBAFan456 on blogger, for the great moment we have spent meeting each other! At least it had arrived, two weeks ago! BFF forever!
Also, thank you so so so so so making for making and offering to me these copies of her ABBA dolls! Aside from that, BFF forever, this are we!
Tadaa!! Cute, huh? OMG, words are not enough how I am pleased and touched by this gift and how much you are good at sewing, Beck!
Here is the proof we met: my copy dolls, her original ones and my legos together! Speaking of legos, our both set of ABBA minifig got to know each othe, too!

And more, I thank her for this:

A pic signed by the three of Benny, Bjorn and Frida (Agnetha does not sign anymore, did you know?) OMG I'll never thank her and Gorel enough for that! Yahoo, counter indicates 2x Benny, 1xBjorn and 1xFrida!

And this:
The story of ABBA for young reader! version 1.0, you may have guessed. Let me say, the drawings are the cutest I have ever seen! Even it can seem a bit "kiddy", (huhu, Beck) you end by thinking it is cute, since it is a FULL BOOK about ABBA SELF-EDITED by TWELVE-year-old girl, even amazing! It is worth to read it, I have to say.

Thanks sis for all those stuffs!

Book release: "Dancing Queen - La Melodie du Bonheur" (JM Potiez)

The French ABBA author is now back with a self-edited book about the song whose fans say it is the best that ABBA has ever made, Dancing Queen!

 Photo de Abba Légende Nordique.

But, better than a "comment", (I have not had yet the chance to read it) here is his Facebook message about it, original and translated by my cares!
 Translation:
As ABBA´s hit Dancing Queen is now 40, I take profit of this event to publish my first self-edited book. Dancing Queen - La Melodie du Bonheur is the story of this song that has become a true hit.
Dimensions 21 x 21 - 32 pages - B/W and colored illustrations
40 years ago, ABBA released their track that would later be their most famous and representative song: Dancing Queen.
Dancing Queen - La Melodie du Bonheur explores the story of this Pop hymn that is still in today, though the many decades since its release. An eternal song which brings happiness each time it is played. Dancing Queen is definitely a magic track!

The book is now available on Amazon
https://www.amazon.fr/DANCING-QUEEN-melodie-du-bonheur/dp/1534748946?ie=UTF8&%2AVersion%2A=1&%2Aentries%2A=0

Please note I am not payed by anyone, nor by Amazon ,neither by the author (I don´t know him personaly, duh). I am just one of his fans and I want to inform about his activity.

I have already written an article about JM Potiez and a review of another of his ABBA biographies, Les Coulisses du succès (I´ll remake this latst one one day, because the style is not great that much)

DQ is 40!

Résultat de recherche d'images pour "abba dq 1976"ABBA's performance at the Swedish royal couple's wedding is 40 now!
Back 2 years years I had thought it would be a pretext for an ABBA reunion, anyway B&B and A&F already performed two weeks ago, so no matter if ABBA doesn't reunite. :P

ABBA reunion - BB50

I thank very much Roxanne Dickson to have uploaded this wonderful vid from Agnetha & Frida's performance at Benny & Bjorn's 50th anniversary of friendship party! However, the one we have to thank the most is Lasse Anrell, from Sweden, who was apparently the only one to get the idea of filming it.

Enjoy!

50 years now

Résultat de recherche d'images pour "benny and bjorn"Yesterday - because this dumb blogger has not published my post when I wanted too -  we had a special anniversary to celebrate! I wish a prosperous and friendly collaboration forever to our dear Benny & Bjorn who met for the first time 50 years ago!
50 years of composing, producing, getting closer as friends, fulfilling their own dreams and others' too, here is what could summarize these long years the tandem spent.
Though they are more & more making their projects on their own, (BAO, composing... for Benny ; MM! The Party, ABBA the museum, politics... for Bjorn)
thèses two legends of the swedish and international music will always stay in contact, or I hope so. Anyway, nothing shows the opposite could happen.

They can face it together, the way old friends do!!!

Happy (late) birthday Bjorn!

Happy (late) birthday to you!
And no matter if the rumor that said you were going to come to MM! The Party on last Sunday was wrong. :P

Speaking of Stikkan, and to pay a tribute to him, here are the work-champion-in-management's 4 ways to manage everything (though, I'll never get the last one...)
- Always work hard
- Don't forget anything
- Always do the best you can
- Don't take life seriously

Doubts

I probably won't be blogging a lot about ABBA's song until the ABBA DAY, because I recently got doubts about my fanness. So, I decided not to listen to ABBA for a few months. Maybe it'll do something. Still, I'll make posts for special events. And I must know the news for the ABBA DAY, too.
A fan is a fan, but still... As everybody tells me, I can't live only one passion in my whole life.

Happy birthday to...

My Youtube channel! It had turned 2 now! :D Two years ago, around 6 pm I was posting my first animation... Time goes fast.
And, well, for a channel like mine, 25 suscribers and 7,391 views aren't so bad... And same 391 views in almost two months
BTW, I'm animating again, though it's not for my channel. But if I've the time to do it, I'll might finish You Owe Me One, as I already said.

Paris 1979

Today in 1979, ABBA performed for the first and last time in France during their european tour. They were supposed to perform too during the 1977 tour but it never happened. Who knows why...
