Late late Reviews in poetry

I've had a thick hesitation about posting this for the time that folowed that miserable election, but here is it:

America is dead!!!

American people have spoken; they've decided to drop the T-Bomb.
And Anxiety coming from our future
Grasps me with its horrific tentacles
While thick, dark shadow grow up from some white building in Washington D.C,
Announcing evil, darker times
An a hideous, frightening, cold-blooding scream.
And while Hillary cries, feeling some cool , insane air spreading around her,
While the horror master from Bangor loses his tweets and his Maine,
While useless violence shakes every corner of this unsatisfied country,
While stubborn, untolerant minds get ready to dig up America's stressed, depressed but bold tears,
A clown has entered the place,
A damned fool has replaced some shiny, racism-killer mind,
An atomic-shaker has replaced some unfairly Dallas victims,
Ludicrous hair is covering a valuable,
beautiful country of 50 different but united states with shame and shades.

Donald Trump has been elected.

A happy but scary birthday to wish

Today, Stephen King turned 69. A happy writing birthday day to our master of horror!
Stephen King has retained his appeal despite the problems he faced in the Eighties

I profit of this post to thank him again for his genius work and his talents of writing teacher, plus for the answer I got from his society (I'll tell about it later).

Secret in Seaport

So as to go on in the thanks serie, I would like to thank very much my writing friend Allison, from Allison The Writer, for the time we spent together during our meeting and for dedicating me this copy of her "debut novelette, Secret in Seaport:

Nice!!

Well, this time I won't do a review of it, but I have to say, maybe it "isn't her best writing", but I kinda have enjoyed it. Anyway, all of us writers know we can't dash a damn good book at our very beginning... Myself I find that my writing sucks during those days.
Back to the novelette, it has many good aspects, such as the main characters and the suspense due to their lives on the road and the fact their father is never home, the suspense and mystery due to the mansion, treasure hunt and disappearing objects... The end isn't the one I had imagined and it seemed a bit weird and flicked-on-the-page to me, but this hasn't prevent me from appreciating the story. And, finally, I find it kinda well-written for a debut novelette - even though I am not a specialist in the matter - others could have made worse.

New minifig: Stephen King

Let me introduce you the latest member of my lego band: American horror writer Stephen King! I haven't told it yet, but my new obsession is him and I am really fond of his plots, characters, backgrounds, style, stories, etc... Plus, he is a super writing mentor to me, giving as much technic advices as tips on routine, motivation and mental. Thanks Mr. King!!!
Still preparing his appearance...

Tadaa!!! As you can notice, I made him look like in the 1970s.

I've also been lucky to get a pic of him in his writing room. You don't know how it is hard to get those kinf of pics... Even human Stephen King is pictured only once while working, you know, on this pic you can see on the On Writing cover. Still, as a lego, you can yet get nice pics of him, such as this one  with the ABBA legos:

As you may imagine by seeing this pic, A, B, B & F were cheerful to welcome the writer that inspired the lyrics of The Piper. Let's hope they'll collaborate as legos and go on with getting on well together!

Thank you Becky!!!

I would like to thank very very much my good old BFF Becky, known as ABBAFan456 on blogger, for the great moment we have spent meeting each other! At least it had arrived, two weeks ago! BFF forever!
Also, thank you so so so so so making for making and offering to me these copies of her ABBA dolls! Aside from that, BFF forever, this are we!
Tadaa!! Cute, huh? OMG, words are not enough how I am pleased and touched by this gift and how much you are good at sewing, Beck!
Here is the proof we met: my copy dolls, her original ones and my legos together! Speaking of legos, our both set of ABBA minifig got to know each othe, too!

And more, I thank her for this:

A pic signed by the three of Benny, Bjorn and Frida (Agnetha does not sign anymore, did you know?) OMG I'll never thank her and Gorel enough for that! Yahoo, counter indicates 2x Benny, 1xBjorn and 1xFrida!

And this:
The story of ABBA for young reader! version 1.0, you may have guessed. Let me say, the drawings are the cutest I have ever seen! Even it can seem a bit "kiddy", (huhu, Beck) you end by thinking it is cute, since it is a FULL BOOK about ABBA SELF-EDITED by TWELVE-year-old girl, even amazing! It is worth to read it, I have to say.

Thanks sis for all those stuffs!

Book release: "Dancing Queen - La Melodie du Bonheur" (JM Potiez)

The French ABBA author is now back with a self-edited book about the song whose fans say it is the best that ABBA has ever made, Dancing Queen!

 Photo de Abba Légende Nordique.

But, better than a "comment", (I have not had yet the chance to read it) here is his Facebook message about it, original and translated by my cares!
 Translation:
As ABBA´s hit Dancing Queen is now 40, I take profit of this event to publish my first self-edited book. Dancing Queen - La Melodie du Bonheur is the story of this song that has become a true hit.
Dimensions 21 x 21 - 32 pages - B/W and colored illustrations
40 years ago, ABBA released their track that would later be their most famous and representative song: Dancing Queen.
Dancing Queen - La Melodie du Bonheur explores the story of this Pop hymn that is still in today, though the many decades since its release. An eternal song which brings happiness each time it is played. Dancing Queen is definitely a magic track!

Please note I am not payed by anyone, nor by Amazon ,neither by the author (I don´t know him personaly, duh). I am just one of his fans and I want to inform about his activity.

I have already written an article about JM Potiez and a review of another of his ABBA biographies, Les Coulisses du succès (I´ll remake this latst one one day, because the style is not great that much)
